Cell Phones for Soldiers
I am very pleased to announce that we are now an official drop-off point for
Cell Phones for Soldiers!
If you have old cell phones laying around the house, please consider dropping them by. Your old cell phones are converted into phone cards for the men and women of our armed forces!
We're here 8am - 6pm M-F so stop in anytime. Thanks for considering this as an alternative to dumping your old phones.
THE STORY
The Cell Phones for Soldiers program was started in April 2004 by 13-year-old Brittany Bergquist and her 12-year-old brother Robbie of Norwell, Massachusetts.
Robbie and Brittany's goal is to help our soldiers serving overseas call home. They hope to provide as many soldiers as possible with prepaid calling cards. Through generous donations and the recycling of used cell phones, Robbie and Brittany have already distributed thousands of calling cards to soldiers around the globe.Read our full press release (PDF)
